Job summary

DigiCert seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer to blend technical expertise with sales acumen, identifying and closing opportunities across customer and partner accounts. You’ll demo, perform PoCs, and guide bids, acting as a trusted advisor while aligning solutions with customer needs. Expect 20–25% travel.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value, design solutions, and support RFP/RFI responses, with emphasis on PKI, cryptography, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as an SE or technical salesperson, or equivalent experience in product management, engineering, or IT software.
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and PKI concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) and container tech like Kubernetes.
• Experience with ServiceNow, GitHub, and REST API integrations.
• Hands-on scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and conduct technical discovery calls to understand requirements and pain points.
• Lead or participate in product demonstrations and PoC planning to meet client needs.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable technical solutions or configurations.
• Assist with scoping customer environments and recommend best-fit products or services.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration guides for engagements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility and address edge-case needs.
