Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to blend strong technical expertise with sales acumen. You will engage customers, lead demos and PoCs, and help shape bids and tenders, ensuring solutions meet client requirements with measurable business value.

You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align offerings with customer needs and organizational goals, with travel estimated at 20–25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as SE or technical salesperson or equivalent.
• Background in IT/server administration and networks.
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and PKI concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and container tech (Kubernetes).
• Experience with REST APIs, ServiceNow, GitHub integrations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery calls to understand customer requirements.
• Lead product demonstrations and PoCs for client-specific needs.
• Translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Assist with scoping environments and fit-product recommendations.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation for engagements.
• Deliver technical presentations showing business value to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to validate feasibility and edge cases.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and bid documentation.
