Job summary

Hidden Jobs seeks a senior Solutions Engineer to partner with the European sales team as technical lead across the sales cycle. The role blends discovery, solution design, and live demos to translate customer challenges into technical wins for consumer brands.

This remote IC position travels about 50% and is based in the UK or Italy. The candidate brings 2+ years in pre-sales or similar roles for SaaS or enterprise software, or hands-on PLM/quality/supply chain experience in food & beverage,

Qualifications

Willingness to travel around 50% of the time across the UK, Europe, and occasionally the US, including overnight stays.
Full professional fluency in English and the existing right to work in the UK or Italy.
At least two years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role for SaaS or enterprise software, OR two or more years of hands-on experience administering PLM, quality, compliance, or supply chain systems in food and beverage, nutraceuticals, CPG, or retail.
Strong technical grounding in APIs, system integrations, SaaS deployments, and web technologies.
Working proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions with SMB, mid-market, and enterprise prospects to map current workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations several times per week, both virtually and on-site at customer locations.
Translate business needs into scalable solution designs, including integration approaches and longer-term technical roadmaps for customer stakeholders.
Own the technical side of the deal, including RFP and RFI responses, information security questionnaires, and Statements of Work that document final scope.
Support marketing at trade shows, webinars, and industry events, and channel customer insight back to product and R&D.
Partner with Customer Success to ensure clean handoffs into implementation and onboarding.
