Job summary

LeoLabs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support strategic growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will translate customer missions into compelling technical solutions, partnering with Business Development, Engineering, Product, and Operations.

The role leads technical discovery, proposal development, demonstrations, and evaluations, with up to 40% travel. Candidates must be located in Spain or Italy to be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Space Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Capture Management, Technical Business Development, Systems Engineering, or Technical PM.
• Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, intelligence, or commercial tech customers.
• Experience with RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, SOWs, proposals, and technical evaluations.
• Strong technical writing; experience producing proposals, white papers, and customer-facing content.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities across technical, operational, acquisition, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BD and Account Executives to shape strategic opportunities across government, defense, civil, and commercial markets.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer missions and requirements.
• Develop mission-focused solution approaches aligned with LeoLabs capabilities.
• Support capture activities by identifying differentiators and value propositions.
• Lead technical contributions for proposals, demonstrations, and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, Security, and leadership to align solutions with delivery commitments.
