Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization in North America. The SE combines sales acumen with deep technical skills to support customers and partners in designing and deploying F5 solutions.

You will partner with Account Managers, identify technical decision makers, validate requirements, and sponsor solutions across large service providers. Training and certification are provided to stay current with F5 technologies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of web servers and web applications.
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience in DevOps environments and with enterprise customers in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise through demonstrations, designs and proofs of concept.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by engaging the Technical Decision Maker.
• Map out organizational structure to determine opportunity viability.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Address application acceleration, routing, web serving and dynamic content caching.
