Job summary

F5 is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer (SE) to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions. The SE will engage with customers and partners, present technical value, and design solutions that meet business objectives.

The role focuses on large North American service providers and involves collaboration with the Sales Director and Provider Team. The role requires strong technical skills across F5 products, multi-cloud services, and DevOps environments.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent experience.
Experience as a Sales Engineer.
Experience in traffic management and load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp, or similar).

Responsibilities

Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning for customer objectives.
Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demos and PoCs.
Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and business drivers.
Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structures.
Drive the sales process with Account Manager, identifying Technical Decision Makers and securing support.
Provide world-class customer service through the lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal resources to share best practices and expertise.
