Job summary

F5 seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions. You will engage customers and partners, design solutions, and demonstrate capabilities to accelerate deals across North America.

Training and certification are provided to stay current in critical skills. You will leverage your background in web technologies, networking, and cloud platforms to map customer challenges to F5 value, working with Account Managers to drive opportunities

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in a relevant field (CS, EE, MIS) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of web servers and web applications.
Skills in Linux/Unix-based systems.
Skills in networking technologies and Internet security products/services.
Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience in a DevOps environment (tools, processes, culture).
Experience working with enterprise customers in the financial services space.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept via in-person/virtual formats.
Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structure.
Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager, securing technical validation and sponsorship.
Consistently deliver world-class customer service through the life cycle of the customer.
Application acceleration; Application request routing; Web serving; Dynamic content caching.
