The role emphasizes consultative, solutions-based selling, strong technical and analytical skills, and collaboration across product, operations, and sales teams. On-site customer engagements and events may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically eight to 10 years of related experience, preferably selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers.
• Proven consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides presales technical expertise to the sales team and customers during the sales process.
• Assists in sales calls by assessing business needs through customer discussions and interactive sessions.
• Develops and presents technical proposals of how organization's products can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment.
• Conducts product/solution demonstrations as required.
• Prepares and presents customer systems/equipment requirements to cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and implementation.
• Installs and demonstrates the organization's products at customer sites post sale or supports hand-off to the implementation team.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products and competitors, informing product management of enhancements.
• May support sales staff at events/trade shows.
