Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned presales engineer to support the sale and implementation of complex products. You will articulate technical solutions, demonstrate value, and guide customers through integration with their systems.

In this role you will develop customized client proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with Product, Technology and Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically eight to 10 years of related experience, preferably selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers

Responsibilities

• Provides presales technical expertise to the sales team and customers during the sales process and contributes to technical documents and proposals.
• Assists in sales calls by assessing business needs through client discussions and white-boarding sessions.
• Develops and presents technical proposals showing how products meet customer needs and can be integrated with customer systems.
• Conducts product/solution demonstrations as required.
• Prepares and presents customer system requirements to enable successful integration and hand-off to implementation teams.
• Installs and demonstrates products at customer sites post-sale or guides requirements to implementation teams.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products and competitors and informs product management of enhancements.
• Supports sales staff at events/trade shows when needed.
