Job summary

Gen Digital Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in New York to lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements. You will collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to translate partner needs into practical solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and refine engagement models.

You will drive discovery, design and demonstrations for challenging use cases, mentor peers, and help accelerate adoption of embedded marketplace infrastructure while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, solutions engineering, technical account management or a similar role.
• Experience in FinTech or enterprise technology is preferred.
• A track record of leading complex partner or customer engagements, including evolving or undefined requirements.
• Experience shaping solution approaches for new verticals or emerging use cases.
• Experience mentoring peers or sharing practices that improve the work of other technical or pre-sales professionals.
• Ability to travel regularly for in-person partner visits.
• Proficiency translating technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
• Experience contributing to scoping frameworks, playbooks or engagement models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders.
• Sound judgment about when to involve technical resources to resolve blockers and accelerate activation.
• Detail-oriented problem solver comfortable with ambiguity and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements, coordinating with internal teams and following through on commitments.
• Contribute to solution narratives and architectural approaches for new verticals and emerging use cases.
• Help improve scoping practices, engagement models, templates and other reusable materials.
• Travel with Sales and Partner Solutions for important prospect and partner meetings.
• Lead discovery and solution design for strategic opportunities and balance priorities across engagements.
• Design and demonstrate complex solutions tailored to partner needs.
• Share best practices with Solutions Engineering peers and maintain high partner communication standards.
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation including implementation guidance.
• Capture partner feedback and inform Product roadmaps.
• Build alignment on solution direction and raise tradeoffs and risks.
• Represent engine capabilities with partners and at industry events.
• Identify expansion opportunities and delivery risks across engagements.
