Job summary
Gen is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements. You will collaborate with Sales, Partner Success, Product and Engineering to translate partner needs into practical, scalable solutions and strengthen the Solutions Engineering practice.
You will guide discovery, design, and demonstrations for challenging use cases, share insights with Product, and help accelerate adoption of embedded marketplace infrastructure, with travel for key meetings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture or similar roles.
- Experience leading complex partner or customer engagements.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
- Proven track record shaping solution approaches for new verticals.
- Willingness to travel for in-person partner visits.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements with internal teams.
- Develop solution narratives and architectural approaches for new verticals.
- Improve scoping practices and engagement templates with Solutions Engineering.
- Travel with Sales for important prospect and partner meetings.
- Lead discovery and design for strategic opportunities with leadership.
- Demonstrate complex solutions and tailor discussions to partner needs.
- Share best practices and maintain high partner communication standards.
- Create and maintain internal/external documentation and guidance.
- Capture partner feedback to inform roadmap discussions.
