Job summary

Bilt in New York is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer to shape enterprise partnerships by designing product and integration approaches. You will collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Product to translate a prospective partner's business and technical environment into a concrete, sellable solution design, then hand that design to the Forward Deployed Engineering team to build.

This is a design and influence role—not implementation—and occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing technical solutions for enterprise needs
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete proposals
• Strong communication skills for engineers and executives

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery calls and solutioning sessions with enterprise partners' stakeholders
• Translate a partner's environment and goals into a concrete solution architecture and API design
• Produce technical assets: diagrams, contracts, proposals, scoping documents
• Hand off designs to Forward Deployed Engineering and stay engaged as design authority
• Identify when a partner ask needs a new product or feature and work with Product to scope it
• Build reusable solution patterns, templates, and a know-how base as the function scales
• Represent feasibility and design perspective in internal deal reviews
