Job summary

Gen is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements, collaborating with Sales, Product and Engineering. You will translate partner needs into practical solutions, influence architectures for emerging use cases, and elevate the Solutions Engineering practice with strong judgment and collaboration.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guide discovery and demonstrations, and help accelerate adoption of Gen’s embedded marketplace

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex partner or customer engagements.
• Experience shaping solution approaches for new verticals or emerging use cases.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
• Proven ability to mentor peers and share best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for in-person partner visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements, coordinating with internal teams.
• Contribute to solution narratives and architectural approaches for new verticals and use cases.
• Improve scoping practices, engagement models, and reusable templates with the Solutions Engineering team.
• Travel with Sales and Partner Solutions for key prospect and partner meetings.
• Lead discovery and design for strategic opportunities with team leadership input.
• Design and demonstrate complex solutions tailored to partner needs, beyond standard product walkthroughs.
• Share best practices with peers and maintain high standards for partner communication.
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation, including implementation guidance.
