Job summary

Gen is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in New York to lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements, collaborating with Sales, Partner Success, Product and Engineering to translate partner needs into practical solutions.

You will guide discovery and demonstrations for challenging use cases, share insights with Product, and help accelerate adoption of Gen's embedded marketplace infrastructure while traveling for key opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales engineering or related roles in FinTech or enterprise technology.
• Led complex partner or customer engagements with evolving or undefined requirements.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-person partner visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning for complex partner engagements, coordinating with internal teams.
• Contribute to solution narratives and architectural approaches for new verticals and use cases.
• Improve scoping practices and engagement models with Solutions Engineering.
• Travel with Sales for important prospect and partner meetings, providing hands-on technical expertise.
• Lead discovery and solution design for strategic opportunities with leadership input.
• Design and demonstrate complex solutions tailored to partner needs beyond standard product demos.
• Share best practices with Solutions Engineering peers and maintain high partner communication standards.
• Create and maintain internal/external documentation including implementation guidance.
• Capture partner feedback and communicate its impact to Product for roadmap discussions.
• Build alignment among partners, Sales, and Product on direction for complex engagements.
