Job summary

Turnitin, LLC is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our remote-first team supporting Higher Education and Secondary Education customers across US time zones. In this role you will partner with Sales to lead product overviews, demos, and technical discussions throughout the sales cycle.

You will build business cases, manage evaluations and RFP responses, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Enablement to drive revenue while advancing learning integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting in EdTech or Enterprise SaaS.
• Strong consultative selling and presentation skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to executive, academic, and technical audiences.
• High level of intellectual curiosity and a desire to work through complex problems.
• Proven track record of managing technical evaluations, POCs, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer facing technical subject matter expert for Turnitin's Integrity and Assessment products across all sales cycles.
• Present tailored product overviews and demos to higher and secondary education customers.
• Assist with RFP/RFI process by advising on technical and integration questions.
• Build business cases and value-focused presentations that align product capabilities with client pain points.
• Manage client trials, pilots, and proofs of concept with clear evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to scale the Solutions Engineering organization.
• Synthesize feedback from customers to product teams and support strategic selling efforts.
