Job summary

Synthesia is hiring in North America for a Senior Solutions Engineer to build the pre-sales function. You’ll be one of the first SEs, shaping playbooks, tooling, and best practices as we scale, not following an existing model.

You will partner with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to run discovery, deliver demos, scope POCs, and design the technical solution for each deal. Remote-friendly with Austin office option.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing tech in SaaS.
• Strong discovery, stakeholder mgmt, and communication with execs and IT.
• Tech depth in APIs, integrations (LMS, HCM, CRM) or security/compliance.
• Fluency with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message; translate tech to ROI.
• Ability to manage multiple POCs, demos, and customer conversations.
• Willingness to travel to visit key customers.

Responsibilities

• Co-plan and execute discovery calls to understand customer requirements.
• Design and deliver compelling demonstrations that prove business value.
• Overcome technical objections; map solution paths.
• Support stakeholder workshops aligning with technology strategy.
• Forecast book of business and advise on competitive positioning.
• Develop demo assets and support POC readouts.
• Provide guidance on platform capabilities, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, CS, and Enablement.
