Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its nonprofit-focused team. You will map customer goals to the Salesforce portfolio, deliver compelling demos, and drive technical wins. You’ll respond to RFPs and design innovative, value-driven Salesforce solutions while collaborating with sales peers and product teams.
Travel up to 20% domestically to accelerate impact and customer success. Applicants should have 7+ years in related roles, a CS/Engineering/MIS degree, and Salesforce admin
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in CS/Software Eng/MIS or related field.
- 7+ years of professional work experience, preferably in nonprofit or software industry.
- Experience in fast-paced, agile company environments.
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Previous Salesforce Administrator experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Discover and analyze customer goals, mapping them to the Salesforce solution portfolio.
- Earn the technical win through compelling demos and presentations.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
- Research and develop technical Points of View aligned with industry knowledge.
- Design innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Present customized, story-driven demos tied to business value.
- Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and account contacts.
- Feed customer requirements back to product and engineering teams.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications.
- Travel domestically up to 20%.
