Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Engineer to map client goals to the Salesforce portfolio and deliver compelling demonstrations that show tangible business value. You’ll respond to RFPs, craft technical POVs, and design innovative platform solutions, collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

Travel up to 20% is expected. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience (nonprofit or software), a CS/IS-related degree, and Salesforce Admin experience.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.
7+ years of professional work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or software industry.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile company environment.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Previous Salesforce Administrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Discover and analyze customer goals, mapping them to the Salesforce solution portfolio.
Earn the "technical win" through compelling demos and presentations.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
Research and develop technical Points of View aligned with industry knowledge.
Design innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Present customized, story-driven demos tied to business value.
Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and account contacts.
Feed customer requirements back to product and engineering teams.
Participate in ongoing training and certifications.
Travel domestically up to 20%.
