Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to evolve the Sales Engineering role, guiding customers through their security transformations and ensuring value realization of investments. You will provide technical leadership, articulate designs across on-prem, cloud, and security operations, and evangelize PANW’s leadership in the cybersecurity space.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Strong understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges.
• Influencing stakeholders in customer-facing or internal roles; pre-sales experience is ideal.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing networks, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC transformation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales quotas by creating strategic, technical account plans for cross‑platform solutions.
• Position and demonstrate high-level designs across the PANW portfolio to create business value.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform and improve productivity, security and flexibility.
• Conduct discovery to capture key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialists for smooth implementation.
• Lead technical engagements and workshops with clear, impactful demonstrations for diverse audiences.
• Drive technical validation efforts to win opportunities and showcase best practices.
• Promote end-to-end solutions including services for faster business value realization.
