Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive the technology evaluation stage of enterprise sales and to serve as the primary technical advisor and product advocate for our platform.

In this role you will architect bespoke POCs/POVs, present to C-level stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with Product Management to feed real-world requirements into our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration ecosystem. Location is West Coast or Remote with field travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, IS or related field.
• 5+ years in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Strong fluency in enterprise application architecture, REST APIs, databases, SQL, integrations, cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and align with account executives to meet regional sales goals.
• Architect custom solutions: scoping, design and delivery of POCs/POVs for enterprise customers.
• Engage executive buyers and present complex architectures to C-level audiences.
• Own technical validation for RFPs/RFIs and detailed client proposals.
• Influence the product roadmap by communicating real-world customer needs to Product Management.
• Scale the organization by creating reusable assets and mentoring junior staff.
