Job summary

Appian Corporation is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to be the trusted advisor for financial services firms, partners, sales leadership, and product teams. You will own account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic opportunities, translating complex financial services requirements into groundbreaking technical solutions.

You will lead executive workshops, design high-quality Proof of Concepts, and collaborate with executives to connect objectives to Appian capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in Pre-Sales/Solutions Consulting or 10+ years in enterprise services or technical consulting with sales involvement.
• Hands-on programming in Java/JavaScript/Python/C#/C++ and DB knowledge (SQL/HTML/XML).
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with executives and C-level audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Own account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic opportunities.
• Lead executive workshops and roadmap sessions connecting objectives to Appian capabilities.
• Architectcustom solutions including POCs/POVs with executive sponsorship and clear success criteria.
• Understand complex IT landscapes (banking, CRM, data, AI, workflows) and integrate Appian.
• Direct the technical response for RFIs/RFPs and security reviews.
• Influence product roadmap by providing real-world customer requirements.
• Scale & mentor: share assets, blueprints, and customer success stories to accelerate best practices.
