Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to redefine how we advise financial services clients by architecting mission-critical cloud solutions. This remote role, with field work, focuses on owning account strategy and technical orchestration for strategic opportunities, translating complex requirements into groundbreaking solutions.

You will work with executives, lead workshops, and influence product direction while mentoring peers and creating reusable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or a related technical or business field.
• 8+ years of successful experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or related enterprise software pre-sales professional, OR 10+ years in a client-facing Professional Services or technical consulting role heavily involved in enterprise sales scenarios.
• Technical depth with Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++ and database proficiency (SQL, HTML, XML).
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with a proven ability to engage executives and lead deep discovery.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations across the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Own Account Strategy: Develop the technical strategy for strategic accounts and campaigns, co-selling with Account Executives.
• Facilitate Executive Workshops: Lead roadmap sessions and executive discussions to align objectives with Appian capabilities.
• Architect Custom Solutions: Design and deliver high-quality POCs and POVs with executive sponsorship and clear success criteria.
• Navigate Complex Landscapes: Understand core systems and modern enterprise environments to integrate Appian effectively.
• Own Technical Validation: Guide technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Influence Product Roadmap: Feed real-world customer requirements to Product Management for long-term planning.
• Scale & Mentor: Share assets and experiences to accelerate best practices across teams.
