Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to redefine the role of a technical advisor by architecting cloud solutions for major financial services clients. This remote role includes ownership of account strategy, leading workshops, and delivering high-impact POCs/POVs with executive sponsorship.

You will navigate complex enterprise landscapes, respond to RFIs/RFPs, influence the product roadmap, and mentor peers while traveling up to 50% to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or enterprise software pre-sales; or 10+ years in client-facing professional services.
• Hands-on programming in modern languages (Java/JS/Python/C#/C++) and databases (SQL).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns.
• Lead executive workshops to map customer objectives to Appian capabilities.
• Architect high-quality POCs and POVs with executive sponsorship and clear success criteria.
• Understand customer IT landscapes to integrate Appian into complex enterprise environments.
• Direct the technical response for RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management to influence the roadmap.
• Coach peers and develop reusable assets and customer success stories.
