Ladders is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Telco, to translate business and technical requirements into scalable architectures for service providers. This remote role focuses on guiding deployment strategy, platform adoption, and solution design for complex telco environments.

You will map workloads to the tech stack, co-design architectures with customers and partners, and influence product direction while collaborating with engineering and product teams to drive customer success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/hardware engineering or solutions architecture with 3–5+ years in telecom.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Telco to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.
This role partners closely with telecommunications customers and ecosystem partners to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, high-impact solution architectures. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding deployment strategy, platform adoption, and solution design for complex service provider environments. The position also plays a key role in shaping internal product direction by surfacing customer needs, identifying capability gaps, and influencing cross-functional priorities.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor by mapping customer workloads to the company's technology stack.
• Co-design scalable architectures with customers or ISV partners, defining technical direction and deployment plans.
• Engage hands-on with technical topics, designing and supporting solutions that drive customer success.
• Identify gaps between customer needs and the company's offerings, and help shape internal priorities.
• Lead technical engagements, troubleshoot complex issues, and advocate for customer needs.
• Drive technical enablement and platform adoption for developers and enterprise customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support successful deployment and continuous improvement of solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering, developer relations, or solutions architecture, including 3-5+ years in telecommunications.
• Deep technical expertise in telecommunications service provider stacks and product integrations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
• Empathy for telco customer needs, balanced with the ability to influence product decisions through strong relationships.
• Background in wireless communication systems or digital signal processing, with a passion for AI autonomous networks.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities for platform adoption.
