Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to integrate programmatic, technical, and systems engineering aspects of complex projects for public safety deployments. You will work with Project Managers, application specialists, customers, and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with customer needs and solution architectures.

The role requires 6+ years in technical delivery or 8+ years in public safety deployment, strong presentation and diagramming skills, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical/engineering field with 6+ years of engineering/technical experience, or 8+ years delivering Public Safety projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture of the overall solution.
• Collaborate with Pre- and Post-Sales to align requirements with customer needs.
• Lead and defend the project's technical and programmatic decisions.
• Identify customer expectation gaps and work with the PM to mitigate them.
• Apply change management and systems engineering processes.
