Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Solutions Architect to integrate programmatic, technical, and systems engineering elements for public safety deployments. The role collaborates with project managers, application specialists, and customers to ensure successful solution delivery.

Applicants should have a technical degree with 6+ years of engineering experience or 8+ years in delivering large-scale public safety projects. Travel up to 25% is required; CJIS policy security is a factor in the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in an engineering or technical field, plus 6+ years of engineering/technical experience or 8+ years delivering public safety projects.
• Excellent presentation skills; proficient with drawing/diagram tools (MS Visio or equivalent).
• Strong verbal and written communication; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and defend the project’s technical and programmatic decisions with the project manager and team.
• Understand requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture; align with customer solution needs.
• Apply change management and systems engineering processes with customers and engineering teams.
