Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to integrate complex technical solutions within the Command Center suite. You will collaborate with PMs, application specialists, and customers to ensure successful deployments while navigating security requirements and CJIS policy.

The role requires 6+ years in engineering or 8+ years delivering public safety deployments, strong presentation skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or an Associate's Degree in a technical or engineering field and 6+ years of technical or engineering experience; OR 8+ years of experience in delivering Public Safety projects in a technical role or enterprise-level technical deployment projects.
• Excellent presentation skills with drawing/diagramming tools (Visio or similar).
• Strong verbal and written skills; fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Understand the technical requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture of the overall solution; align requirements with customer solution needs with Pre and Post-Sales teams.
• Lead and defend the project's technical and programmatic decisions; work with Project Manager to mitigate gaps between customer expectations and delivery.
• Tailor and apply change management and systems engineering processes with customers and engineering teams when implementing solutions including third-party applications.
• Assist Project Management in developing and managing costs and schedules by identifying technical risks and mitigation options.
• Participate as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager for third-party, customer, and internal meetings.
