Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect in the United States to lead the integration of complex public safety and enterprise deployments. You will collaborate with Pre- and Post-Sales teams, align customer requirements with the solution architecture, and guide technical decisions across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in technical/engineering roles or 8+ years delivering public safety projects, strong presentation skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Understand the technical requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture of the overall solution.
• Lead and defend the project's technical and programmatic decisions.
• Identify customer expectation gaps and work with the Project Manager to mitigate them.
• Tailor and apply change management and systems engineering processes.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams when implementing solutions including third-party applications.
• Assist Project Management in developing and managing costs and schedules by identifying technical risks and mitigation options.
• Serve as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager for meetings with third-party, customer, and internal stakeholders.
