Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre‑sales technical architect and proposal writer across IT service lines. The role partners with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery to translate client needs into winning, technically sound solutions spanning ITSM, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years in IT services, with experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs in pre-sales/solutions roles.
Experience designing solutions across ITSM/ITIL, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, Cloud (AWS/Azure), and Infrastructure.
Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government and/or commercial RFPs.
Understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing/pricing constructs, and SLA design.
Fluent English with ability to present to executive/non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Evaluate opportunities and develop/support new lines of business.
Lead solution architecture for pre-sales, translating RFP/RFI into technical and staffing solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to shape CAI's pursuit strategy.
Design end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure.
Draft and edit proposal content—technical narratives, staffing plans, pricing assumptions.
Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and delivery leads.
Engage partner/alliance teams to incorporate platform capabilities into proposals.
Identify cost items and document assumptions to mitigate solution risk.
Develop reusable assets: reference architectures, staffing models, pricing templates.
Support orals/BAFO preparation, client presentations, and executive briefings with clear technical positioning.
Provide technical review and quality control on proposal volumes prior to submission.
Multi-task across concurrent initiatives and advise CAI leadership.
