Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a solutions architect to serve as the primary customer-facing technical leader for the Majors team (Central). You will guide prospects and customers in evaluating Temporal’s platform, articulate the benefits of our cloud service, and position Temporal against competing technologies.

You’ll own the technical relationship with key decision-makers and enable production-scale adoption across customer environments.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal technical communication.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems design and best practices.
• Experience providing design, development, build and deployment guidance.
• Proficiency in one or more languages used with Temporal (Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, Rust).
• Solid grasp of production operations, security, reliability, performance and cost considerations.
• Ability to advise on architecture patterns and platform architectures.
• Experience as a strategic technical advisor to sales teams for scoping and sizing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to assess fit for Temporal’s platform.
• Educate customers on technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s cloud service.
• Position Temporal as a standard for enterprise development against competitors.
• Foster adoption and expansion within customer production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives to craft and execute account plans.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers to maximize use of Temporal’s capabilities.
• Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos.
• Travel 25-50%.
