Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Majors team (West) to lead technical conversations with prospects and customers, guiding them on Temporal’s platform fit and cloud advantages. You’ll help position Temporal against competitors, expand production usage, and own strategic technical relationships with key decision-makers.

Based in the Pacific time zone, you’ll collaborate with Account Executives, develop reference architectures, and create reusable assets. Travel 25-50% is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine if applications fit Temporal’s platform.
• Educate customers on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal as an enterprise development standard against competing technologies.
• Foster customer engineering adoption of Temporal in production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop account plans and ensure long-term success.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and ensure value realization.
• Create reusable technical assets and demos for Solution Architects.
• Travel 25-50%.
