Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect to be the primary customer-facing technical leader within the Majors team (West). You will guide prospects and customers through technical evaluation, architecture, and implementation considerations to drive production adoption of Temporal.

You will partner with Account Executives to support land-and-expand motions, owning key technical relationships and helping position Temporal against alternative architectures and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience guiding customers through architectural decisions and tradeoffs.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider and enterprise services.

Responsibilities

• Lead with exceptional technical communication in presentations, whiteboarding, and written guidance.
• Guide customers through evaluation, architecture, and implementation considerations for production usage of Temporal.
• Partner with Account Executives to support land-and-expand motions and manage technical relationships.
• Provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Navigate security, reliability, performance, and cost considerations in production environments.
• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales AEs, scoping opportunities and assessing risks.
• Travel 25-50% as needed to engage with customers.
