Job summary

New Energy Equity in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to oversee inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on-site at solar sites. You’ll own sites, mentor junior technicians, and advance along a defined Field Tech pathway.

Active New Mexico Master Electrician license required; relocation offered; sign-on bonus of $3,000. This is a field-based role with outdoor work and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Active NM Master Electrician license or license from another state convertible to NM.
• Ability to lead field crews and inspections in solar sites.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics and drawings.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for sites.
• Diagnose and resolve grid integration and system faults.
• Mentor junior technicians and document work.
