Job summary

New Energy Equity in El Paso, Texas, is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to oversee on-site solar inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will own sites, mentor technicians, and progress along a defined development path to Technician IV.

The role requires a Texas Master Electrician license, strong electrical knowledge, and leadership skills. We offer a company truck, tools, training, and a 3%+3% sign-on/relocation package where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Electrician license or license convertible to Minnesota before start date.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics/engineering drawings.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and field operations on solar sites and coordinate field tasks.
• Inspect solar plants, perform maintenance, and supervise technicians.
• Diagnose grid integration issues and resolve complex faults in the field.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance for technical growth.
• Create and maintain comprehensive field documentation and records.
