Job summary

New Energy Equity seeks a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to manage on‑site solar plant inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will mentor junior technicians, own site responsibilities, and progress along a defined Field Tech pathway to Technician IV.

The role requires a Philadelphia Master Electrician license or equivalent, strong leadership, and the ability to work outdoors on solar sites with travel.

Qualifications

• Active Philadelphia Master Electrician license or ability to convert to Philadelphia license before start date.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field work and mentor junior technicians.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants in the field.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical system issues and grid integration faults.
• Create and maintain field‑level documentation and reports for management.
