Job summary

New Energy Equity is hiring a Senior Field Service Technician to oversee regional solar PV field operations around El Paso, TX. This on-site role involves coordinating complex maintenance, managing state electrical permitting, and serving as a safety authority with management and vendors.

You will train and mentor field staff while ensuring compliance with AHJ and codes. You must hold an active Texas electrical license and have 5+ years in senior-level field electrical work, with medium-voltage

Qualifications

• Senior field experience in solar PV or related electrical work.
• Active Texas electrical license required; medium-voltage knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Strong safety compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians and coordinating vendors.

Responsibilities

• Safety and regulatory compliance across regional operations.
• Coordinate complex preventative and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems and medium-voltage gear.
• Lead regional field teams and mentor technicians; collaborate with O&M managers and vendors.
• Document faults, site deficiencies, and service activities in CMMS; drive process improvements.
