Job summary

New Energy Equity, a premier solar solutions company, seeks a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to oversee field inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on sites around Faribault, MN. You will mentor technicians, lead safety-focused field work, and drive project execution with a strong emphasis on quality and reliability.

The role requires a Minnesota Master Electrician license and a proven ability to operate in a field-based, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Master Electrician license required for electrical work.
• Strong field leadership and mentoring ability.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues including grid integration.
• Create and maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide mentorship to junior technicians and contribute to training materials.
