Job summary

New Energy Equity seeks a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar in the St. Louis area. You will command in-field inspections, mentor technicians, and own site-level execution with safety first. Master Electrician credentials and strong diagnostic ability are essential to drive solar projects safely to completion.

Relocation assistance is available, with a $3,000 sign-on. Expect travel within the territory, weekend on-call rotation, and advancement to Technician IV as you grow expertise.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Master Electrician license and ability to lead in the field.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for solar power systems.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants and supervise technicians.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical system issues including grid integration.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to address performance problems and document actions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship; maintain thorough work documentation.
