Job summary

Robinhood seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Enterprise Build team in Menlo Park, CA. The role turns AI prototypes into enterprise-grade services, collaborating with Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance.

You’ll assess prototypes, harden or rebuild, and ship secure, scalable software with SSO, audit logging, and CI/CD practices. This is a hands-on role in a regulated industry, requiring cloud fluency (GCP), serverless stacks, and AI-native development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production backend or full-stack systems.
• Hands-on cloud depth with a serverless stack (GCP preferred).
• Experience building AI-native, LLM-powered applications or agentic workflows.
• Ability to work with finance, legal, or HR partners.
• Experience in regulated industries, finance or fintech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess prototypes and decide whether to harden, rebuild, or redirect, owning the outcome end-to-end.
• Design, build, and ship services on enterprise platforms meeting security and reliability standards.
• Develop AI-native components: agents, MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills as production artifacts.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance to translate workflows into software.
• Deliver handoffs with runbooks, evals, and dashboards; build platform capabilities for repeated problems.
• Raise engineering quality with rigorous review of AI-generated code.
• Partner with Enterprise Platforms to standardize recurring solutions.
