Robinhood is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Enterprise Build team in Menlo Park, CA. The role focuses on turning AI prototypes into production-grade services that meet security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production backends or full-stack systems.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, containers, CI/CD, and IaC in a serverless stack.
• Experience building AI-native apps or agentic workflows with LLM-powered code.
• Strong product sense to scope prototypes and finish end-to-end.
• Excellent communication with non-engineers; comfortable with finance, HR, legal partners.
• Experience in regulated industries, fintech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess prototypes and decide to harden, rebuild, or redirect; own the outcome end-to-end.
• Design, build, and ship services on enterprise platforms, meeting full security standards.
• Build AI-native: drive agents, porting, test scaffolding, and ship MCP servers/sub-agents/agent skills as production artifacts.
• Work with sponsoring business units (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance) translating real workflows into software.
• Deliver clean handoffs: runbooks, evals, dashboards.
• Establish platform patterns with the Enterprise Platforms team to turn repeated problems into a platform capability.
• Raise the bar on AI-era engineering quality with rigorous review of AI-generated code.
