Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. You will develop software strategies, translate requirements, and assess contractor deliveries for weapon systems. A TS clearance with SCI/SAP access is required, along with 10+ years of DoD engineering experience or 15+ years with a Bachelor's degree.

You will participate in system design reviews, testing, risk assessments, and contract documentation while traveling up to 10% CONUS.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP; background investigation current within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Master's Degree with 10+ years DoD/government/contractor experience or Bachelor's with 15+ years experience; SAP experience in last 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for acquisition, development, and sustainment of software for weapon systems and support equipment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, testing, and evaluation of software for computer systems.
• Conduct assessments of DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit DoD contractors for software configuration and control and ensure quality accreditation.
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform systems analyses and trade-off studies.
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing; review data and make recommendations.
• Support development and review of program and contract documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals; perform risk assessments and mitigation plans.
