Job summary
Serco is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the DoD AFLCMC/WAG program at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on software architecture, CI/CD, MBSE, and DevSecOps to advance DoD procurement and fielding of aerospace systems.
Candidates should hold a TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, a Master’s in engineering, and 20+ years of DoD-related experience, including SAP/SCI exposure. Travel up to 10% (CONUS) is required.
Qualifications
- Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP access
- Masters Degree in Engineering with 20+ years DoD/government experience
- Minimum 3 years SAP/SCI experience within last 5 years
- Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS)
Responsibilities
- Oversee software architecture for CI/CD pipelines in DoD software programs
- Assess interfaces among software, firmware, and hardware
- Participate in software-centric reviews and transition efforts to CI/CD
- Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation
- Review system design, interoperability requirements, and test plans
- Develop technical documentation, briefs, and engineering strategies
- Interface with contractors and government on software engineering activities
- Assess AFRL tech initiatives to guide investments and transitions
