Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, working on DoD programs that involve CI/CD pipelines, MBSE, and software integrity across contractors.

The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access or ability to obtain, and the candidate should have extensive DoD software engineering experience, including DevSecOps, architecture reviews, and risk assessments to deliver mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP access.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline with ~20 years of relevant DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee software architecture for CI/CD in DoD programs.
• Evaluate software design changes and perform trade-off analyses.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements with MBSE.
• Review software architectures for interoperability and performance.
• Develop and present technical briefings and engineering strategies.
