Job summary
Serco is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and extensive DoD software engineering experience.
You will lead architecture reviews, CI/CD pipeline implementations, and MBSE-driven requirement traceability, while coordinating with government and contractor teams on risk assessments and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI/SAP and a current background investigation (past 5 years or Continuous Vetting).
- Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years relevant DoD/government experience.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).
- DoD acquisition software engineering support including architecture, design, integration, test/evaluation, and certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee software architecture for CI/CD pipelines in DoD programs.
- Translate user requirements into system requirements using MBSE.
- Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation.
- Evaluate system software test plans and conduct testing; analyze data.
