Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support AFLCMC/WAG at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires an active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility and will involve transitioning to CI/CD pipelines for DoD software products.

The candidate should bring MBSE experience, strong software architecture skills, and the ability to conduct technical briefings, risk assessments, and contractor evaluations. Travel up to 10% CONUS may be required.

Qualifications

Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility; background investigation current within 5 years or Continuous Vetting.
Master's degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years relevant DoD/government experience.
Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within last 5 years.
Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

Oversee architecture of DoD software pipelines with CI/CD for prototypes, aircraft, and test equipment.
Assess interfaces between software, firmware, and hardware.
Participate in software-centric reviews and transition to CI/CD; translate user requirements into system requirements via MBSE.
Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation; review system design and interoperability.
Evaluate software test plans and analyze data; provide technical risk assessments and mitigation.
