Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the USAF AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. This role focuses on software for weapon systems and involves translating requirements, evaluating contractor deliveries, and leading risk assessments.

You will contribute to software architecture reviews, testing plans, and contract documentation while maintaining a Top-Secret clearance and SAP experience. Travel up to 10% CONUS is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI and SAP access; background check current within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with extensive DoD/DoD contractor experience.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years.
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies to acquire, develop, and sustain software for weapon systems and support equipment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, and testing of software for computer systems and subsystems.
• Audit DoD contractor software deliveries and assess performance deficiencies with corrective actions.
• Evaluate contractor design changes and conduct systems analyses and trade studies.
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing and data analysis.
• Support development and review of program and contract documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals and perform risk assessments with mitigation plans.
