Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is supporting a Senior Level Software Engineer position for the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK.

You will develop software strategies, translate requirements into system designs, and assess contractor software deliveries to ensure quality and interoperability across weapon-system software. The role requires an active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access, a Master’s degree with 10+ years or a Bachelor’s with 15+ years in DoD engineering, plus at least 3 years of SAP

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP
• Master’s degree with 10+ years of engineering DoD experience or Bachelor’s with 15+ years of DoD experience
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience within the last 8 years
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for weapon systems software
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Audit DoD contractor software configuration and control measures
• Evaluate contractor proposed design changes and perform systems analyses
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing
• Support development and review of program documentation
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals
• Perform technical risk assessments and mitigation plans
