Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB. You will develop software strategies, translate requirements into system specifications, and perform risk assessments across weapon-system software lifecycles.

The role requires hands-on development for DoD software, expertise in C++, Python, and JavaScript, and the ability to travel up to 10% CONUS. Join Serco’s defense-focused team and contribute to critical national security programs.

Qualifications

• Active top-secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain SCI/SAP access.
• Hands-on software development or analysis experience in DoD environments.
• Experience translating user requirements to system requirements and designing software for weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for acquisition, development, and sustainment of software for weapon systems.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design, development, and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment and analyze performance deficiencies.
