Job summary

Serco seeks a Senior Level Software Engineer to support AFLCMC/WAG at Tinker AFB, OK, developing and sustaining software for weapon systems and government programs. You will translate requirements into system specs, analyze contractor deliveries, and audit configuration controls while collaborating on risk mitigation and technical evaluations.

The role requires a TS clearance with SCI/SAP access, a Master’s or Bachelor’s in engineering, and hands-on software development experience, plus travel

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI/SAP access and a current background investigation
• Master's or Bachelor’s in a relevant engineering discipline with extensive DoD/DoD contractor experience
• Minimum 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years and hands-on software development
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis to support DoD software programs
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies to acquire, develop, and sustain software for weapon systems and related equipment
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development,测试 and evaluation of software
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment and analyze performance deficiencies
• Audit software configuration control measures and verify quality accreditation
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform systems analyses and trade-off studies
• Review system design, software architecture, and interoperability requirements
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing across subsystems and components
• Support development and review of program and contract documentation
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals and develop risk mitigation plans
