Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK.

You will lead electrical systems development, integration, and sustainment for avionics, with a focus on delivering rapid fielding of capabilities for the warfighter. The role requires DoD/DoD-contractor experience, a clear background in electrical engineering, and SAP/SCI exposure, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 12+ years DoD/DoD-contractor experience.
• Or MS in a relevant engineering discipline with a ABET-accredited BS and 10+ years DoD/DoD-contractor experience.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years.
• Travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D, testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems on aeronautical vehicles and related avionics.
• Serve as technical expert and provide guidance to leadership on sustaining engineering.
• Develop and review system electrical/electronic design baselines and interoperability requirements.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software and hardware.
• Provide integration support for acquisition, development, sustainment, and verification of systems, software, and equipment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Support USAF technical orders and depot/field engineering activities.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and follow USAF eight-step process.
